The VOLMET7 system from Saab Combitech provides pilots in flight with information of the meteorological conditions at the surrounding main airports of their destination.

The pilots receive in due time information to decide if there is a need to consider deviation of the aircraft to an adjacent airport in case of bad weather condi- tions at the destination airport. The message service is automatically and continuously refreshed as soon as new information becomes available, without intervention from operator.
