Safer and more efficient airport operations

The RCIS system monitors meteorological data at the airport and the surface conditions of runways and other airfield operational areas, to ensure safer ground operations of aircraft and faster reopening of closed runways and taxiways after severe weather conditions.

RCIS also helps the airport staff to decide about required treating and clearing of the runways, for increased safety and optimal cost efficiency. It can wirelessly interface real time data from runway surface friction test vehicles, cameras, etc. It has a number of external interfaces that enables runway status and weather information to be distributed, including sending alerts to staff on standby.
